USG People Spain awarded for CRM application

04 mei 2011 - At the BlackBerry World conference in Florida, USG People Spain won second place today in the Business Impact category for the BlackBerry 2011 Wireless Achievement Award. The Wireless Achievement Awards are presented to organizations who are doing business in new and better ways with game-changing BlackBerry deployments.

To improve the efficiency of its mobile sales force, USG People Spain tasked NTS, a member of the BlackBerry Alliance Program, with developing a Customer Relationship Management application for BlackBerry smartphones. USG People's 235 sales reps in Spain now use it to manage calendars, access customer information, and track sales objectives. The application has helped each sales rep save over two hours per week, which adds up to 11,000 additional sales call annually and a net increase in annual revenue of € 3 million.

According to Oriol Mas, CEO of USG People Spain, the BlackBerry solution has generated a 13% increase in the productivity of each sales representative. "It has made us a leader in innovation for business process improvement."
